UW Stout Industrial Design and School of Art & Design are sponsoring the second annual DesignWisconsin event showcasing the impacts of Industrial Design on the State of Wisconsin's Culture, Commerce, Community and Brand- Past, Present, and Future.

It is a little known secret that Wisconsin is a hub for product innovation - our mission with this event is to showcase and celebrate prominent Wisconsin-based Industrial Design teams and their work. We hope this format will inspire participants and strengthen connections within our Industrial Design community, as well as cultivate new ones!

The event includes an open house of major Wisconsin Design/Manufacture groups including TREK, Milwaukee Tool, Kohler, Mercury Marine, Polaris, Fiskars, Oshkosh and many more. There will be a keynote address from TREK and visiting dignitaries including a presentation from the Milwaukee Chapter of the Industrial Designers Society of America on the Student Merit Awards form UW Stout and MIAD.

A new feature this year will be an outdoor car show featuring Nash and AMC vehicles designed by Richard Teague and manufactured in Kenosha Wisconsin. There will also be student portfolio reviews during the day, tours of the TREK facilities, refreshments, Jolly Good Soda (from Wisconsin) and food trucks!

The show is a FREE event on May 13, 2023 from 10am-5pm at the TREK Bicycle Company's Corporate headquarters in Waterloo, WI.
