To us, they are not just words, but rather, the way we do business. We are a State-certified police agency vested with providing law enforcement services for UW-Stout at all times.

Our Mission
It is our mission that the University of Wisconsin–Stout Police Department serve the students, employees and campus visitors of the University of Wisconsin by providing professional law enforcement and preserving the Constitutional Rights of the people by mandating the fair and impartial enforcement of the law and college policies.
Our Vision
It is our vision that the University of Wisconsin-Stout remain one of the safest and most enjoyable places to live, learn and visit in the State of Wisconsin and in the nation and for the University of Wisconsin-Stout Police Department to be a leader in public safety. We achieve this through innovation, community partnerships and inclusivity. We strive to integrate the concepts of community policing with our students, employees and campus visitors and to achieve our vision through collaborative problem solving.

Organization Details
- Officers actively patrol campus with marked patrol vehicles supported by bicycle and foot patrol officers whenever possible.
- All officers have met or exceeded the training requirements of the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board.
- We provide 24-hour service to the university in the areas of protection, emergency services and law enforcement.
- University Police Officers patrol the campus and are available to help students, faculty, staff, and guests in need of assistance.
