Caring for your well-being remotely

The Counseling Center is currently offering tele-counseling appointments using Microsoft Teams for students residing in Wisconsin. If you wish to schedule a telehealth appointment, please call our office at (715)-232-2468. If you live out of state and are seeking services during the summer, you may contact the office and schedule a telephone consultation for help in locating counseling resources near you.

Staff are currently telecommuting from home through the month of July. The physical office will re-open in mid-August, with staff rotating between being on-campus and telecommuting, in accordance with health guidelines. In the interest of staff and student health and safety, primary service delivery will continue to be via tele-counseling during the Fall 2020 semester. Limited exceptions for in-person appointments will be made for student crises and other extenuating circumstances, during which campus protocols for masking and social distancing will be enforced.

Transferring Care

To transfer your care to one of our licensed and trained counselors, please have your current mental health practitioner send your treatment summary to the Counseling Center for review and processing.

An initial appointment will be scheduled to discuss care needs, answer questions about services, and complete any forms to ensure records are current. Subsequent appointments can be made following the initial appointment.
