Discover a Degree to Define Your Career
Not sure what program you want to pursue? No worries. You are not alone. Up to 80 percent of college students admit they are uncertain about what they want to major in, even if they have declared a major.
At UW-Stout, we have a variety of ways to help make your search easier. In addition to receiving assistance from your academic advisor, we also have an optional Seminar in Career Exploration course (1 credit) you can take to explore different career outcomes and the pathways that will lead you to them.
Browse Our Majors
To further help you streamline your exploration, you can easily browse our majors by visiting any of our six career clusters. Our clusters reflect groups of majors that lead to careers with parallel skillsets or interest areas and are similar to the clusters you may have learned about through other career exploration activities provided by guidance counselors, career counselors, or even by visiting the Department of Labor website, O*Net.
