Lara Hoss gladly joins University of Wisconsin-Stout as an Assistant Professor in the Marriage and Family Therapy Program. Lara received her Doctor of Philosophy in Couple, Marriage, and Family Therapy at Texas Tech University in 2024. She is also an American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy Approved Supervisor. Lara brings with her previous teaching, supervisory, and clinical experience into her new position. Her research and clinical interest encompasses the topic of intimate partner violence. Specifically, Lara is interested in working with couples who have experienced violence in their intimate relationship as well as researching clinicians' work with clients experiencing intimate partner violence.
